- October 20, 2023Will Gautney started working at ºÚÁÏÉç’s Center for the Arts as a part-time stagehand in 2013. The job involved lots of lifting, building, and prep work for shows. In 2018, he was hired full-time as assistant master electrician, his current role. He is also chair of Mason's Staff Senate.
- October 18, 2023Lucal was selected in a national search conducted this summer. She joins Mason from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where she serves as the associate vice chancellor of Human Resources and CHRO.

Outside work, Norfleet hones other talents of her own—she is a Toastmasters champion and a spoken word artist who shares her poetry to inspire others.
