Lydia Sigman grabbed every Schar School opportunity to position herself for a career in government.

The National Security Administration redesignated ºÚÁÏÉç as a National Center of Academic Excellence, a distinction Mason has had since 1999.

Mason graduate student Archana Vardhan was one of 20 students nationwide selected for a summer fellowship through the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs. Her area of expertise is the mental and physical health of postnatal mothers of color.

The co-founder, owner, and president of Century Stair Company, the largest stair manufacturer on the East Coast, through his estate, has given a $50 million planned gift to rename ºÚÁÏÉç’s Donald G. Costello College of Business.

Mason history and art history doctoral student Timmia King is eager to explore new topics and gain insight into different people and their lives. With the support of a Graduate Inclusion and Access (GIA) Scholarship, she is able to delve into African American archives and cultivate attention and value to overlooked and obscured experiences

ºÚÁÏÉç’s Patriot Pantry, in cooperation with the Capital Area Food Bank, is delivering groceries to food-insecure Mason students and their families.

Mason graduate student Kyle Delin is doing his practicum as an athletic training student associate with Radio City Rockettes’ Athletic Training department and is helping with the Rockettes’ Radio City Christmas Spectacular show.

Mason's Institute of Digital Innovation (IDIA) has announced its second cohort of IDIA Predoctoral Fellows: Alonso Gabriel Ogueda-Oliva, Dibyendu Das, and Erika De Los Santos.

The scholarship luncheon, held each fall by the Donald G. Costello College of Business at ºÚÁÏÉç, brings together scholarship donors with the student recipients of those scholarships. On Tuesday, November 7, the latest group of donors and awardees gathered to build connections and share inspiration.

ºÚÁÏÉç, led by the Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution, is one of seven universities partnering with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Conflict and Stabilization Operations (CSO) as an Academic Center of Conflict Anticipation and Prevention.

A weekend-long conference near Washington, D.C., brought undergraduate students from several universities together to learn the art of policy communications. The sessions were taught by practitioners in an event hosted by the Schar School.
