Sponsored by the Institute for a Sustainable Earth (ISE) and the Business for a Better World Center, the 17 Rooms-U produced dozens of ideas, some of which were combined during follow-up conversations. Groups championing those ideas are now receiving up to $5,000 in seed money to implement their sustainability plans.

The School of Business and College of Health and Human Services at ºÚÁÏÉç teamed up this holiday season to donate over $1,500 in gift cards to the Culmore Family Resource Center.

On Friday, November 19, 2021, the Business for a Better World Center welcomed leaders from a wide range of disciplines and communities who outlined a framework by which the United States can empower the American people, in partnership with government, business, and civil society, to act on the climate crisis. It wasn’t until 1972, during a United Nations conference in Stockholm, that the nations of the world formally announced what was already self-evident to most—human activity was detrimentally impacting the environment, and in turn, threatening our future prosperity. Nearly 50 years on, it seems that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Despite their own limited resources, Sally A. and Albert W. Kaider always made helping meet the needs of others a priority. Their legacies will now be honored as the new name of the Business for a Better World Impact Fellows 2021-2022 First Year Experience.
